Can I fit a tint appointment around a Southfield work week?

It can fit: most vehicles take 2 to 4 hours, we're open until 6:00 PM on weekdays and until 3:00 PM on Saturdays, and you can ask for a time when you request your quote.

Southfield is a business center, with about 27 million square feet of office space, second in metro Detroit only to downtown Detroit, and it had 76,618 residents at the 2020 census. If your weekdays are full, Saturday is the other option.

The shop is climate-controlled (heated and cooled), insured, and gated with an alarm. Call (248) 881-8204 with questions about drop-off and pickup.

Which tint film should a Southfield driver ask for?

Ask about ceramic first if you spend long stretches in the car: it is our premium film, and it reduces interior heat. Carbon is the other film we install, and it holds a steady color. Both are rated for 99% UV rejection, and our carbon vs ceramic tint guide lays out the differences.

Which Michigan rules apply to window tint on my Southfield vehicle?

One state statute, MCL 257.709, covers it. Film on the windshield and front side windows is limited to a strip along the top edge, nonreflective tint is exempt on the rear side windows and rear window, and the statute names no darkness percentage.

Our Michigan window tint laws guide goes through each window. This isn't legal advice, and we go over what's allowed on your vehicle when you choose your film.

What does the manufacturer's warranty cover?

The manufacturer's lifetime limited warranty lasts for as long as the original customer owns the vehicle. It covers peeling, cracking, adhesive failure, delamination and purple color change, the remedy is replacement film, and ghosting isn't covered.

To keep it valid, follow the care steps we give you, keep your warranty card and proof of purchase, and contact us first if you ever need to make a claim.
