No. Film locks in whatever is underneath it, so we assess the paint first and correct it when it needs correcting. The film then takes the next chip in place of the paint.

The days go to the paint assessment, any correction, decontamination, pattern cutting, installation and edge finishing, then a 24-hour cure and a final inspection.
What do I do in the first month after pickup?
Wait 7 days before the first wash and 30 days before waxing or sealing the car. After that, hand washing works, and a touchless wash is also fine.

- Light marks in a self-healing film fade with heat from sunlight or warm water.
- If an edge starts to lift, bring the car back and we will look at it.

The film: The film we install, including satin and matte, carries the manufacturer's 10-year limited warranty, which runs from the date of professional installation and covers yellowing, cracking, crazing and fading. If the film has a manufacturing defect, the manufacturer repairs or replaces it at no cost.
The installation: Our limited lifetime installation warranty covers lifting, peeling and workmanship on the film we install.
Both are limited, so they have exclusions. The manufacturer's warranty excludes damage from accidents, rocks and improper cleaning, and a claim goes through the shop that installed the film with your warranty card and receipt.
